Line Array Speaker

Zsound LA 208 line array enclosure is a mini-scale, two-way system, which provides frequency response ranges from 70Hz to18KHz with smooth frequency and phase response. LA208 consists of a 75 mm compression driver and two 8" neodymium LF drivers. It`s light but provides very high SPL.

The low-mid section comprises a pair of 8"  paper cone neodymium woofersï¼ÂÂŒ each unit`s power handling is 200W and connected in series. "V"- shape symmetric configuration allows the acoustic image to be in the heart of the enclosure. The exclusively acoustical mesh enclosure in the front of the bass unit intends to prevent the interference in the medium frequency efficiently caused by the comb filter, so as to optimise the directivity of the medium frequency.

The high-section consists of a 75mm neodymium compression driver and a plane-wave converter, which produce a smooth and accordant waveform. In addition, the 75mm compression driver with 110dB sensitivity makes the LA208 enclosure produce 135db SPL peak output.

Zsound LA208 is a trapezoidal enclosure designed to make the two cabinets as close as possible, which can reduce the invalid vocal gap and minimize the vertical side lobe. Each enclosure is adjustable from 0°to 5°angle, 1°per step, as well as 7.5°, 10°. Inter-cabinet comprises 3-point rigging system, instead of common pins. whilst 8 enclosures are flying, it will provide 7:1 safety factor.

The enclosure panel is made by 18mm multi-laminate plywood, 15mm is for other sides. It is finished with black textured water paint. Two insert handle cups are mounted on both sides of the enclosure for easy lifting and carrying. A rear panel connector plate carries 2 Neutrik Speakon NL4MP connectors for loop in and loop out connections, 1+1- is for the LF driver, and 2+2- is for the HF driver. On the other hand, the enclosure is well protected by the black mesh grill with the transaudient reticulated foam.
